Brief Overview
We are looking for a qualified sales administrator to join our team and help us achieve our goals. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for the Finance and Administration Manager.
Our ideal candidate is great with people, an excellent communicator and highly motivated. If you have exceptional organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you.
Core Duties
- Process orders via email or phone
- Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
- Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Distribute weekly sales reports
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Issue sales invoices and process purchase invoices (includes matching to purchase orders)
- Be the main point of contact for cash receipts and ensure that all cash is recorded accurately
- Post sales receipts
- Process card payments
- Assist with reconciliations for cash, bank and purchase and sales ledgers
- Perform credit control tasks
Key Skills
- Good communication and relationship skills.
- Able to organise and manage own workload.
- Good mathematical literacy.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Excel.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Motivated and keen to learn.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of the drinks industry ontrade sector.
- Experience working with Sage 50 or other accounting software.
- 5 GCSE’s at C grade or above.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Administrative experience of at least 1 year.
