Founded in 2004, Cellar Drinks Company is an independent, family-run drinks wholesaler supplying the on-trade across South and Mid Wales.

From beers, wines and spirits to ciders, soft drinks and cellar gas, we offer an extensive range backed by the personal, reliable service that has always been at the heart of our business.

Today, our growing team operates from our distribution centre in the Heads of the Valleys, bringing our people, stock and distribution together under one roof.

Cellar Drinks was founded with a simple ambition: to provide great drinks with great customer service.

Our roots in the beer and brewing industry stretch back three generations, and while the business has grown significantly over the years, those values haven't changed.

In 2025, Cellar Drinks entered the biggest chapter in its history with the acquisition of Hurns Beer Company, a South Wales drinks business with more than 150 years of heritage.

In 2026, we brought Cellar Drinks and Hurns together under one operation at our new distribution centre in Tafarnaubach.

Bringing the two businesses together has created a stronger independent drinks wholesaler, combining the heritage and brands of Hurns with the range, service and ambition of Cellar Drinks.

The Hurns name continues as part of the Cellar Drinks family, alongside its well-known brands including Taffy Apples Cider, Cwrw Braf, High Tyde and Black Jack.

Our new distribution centre gives us the space, stockholding and infrastructure to offer customers an even wider range, greater availability and a more efficient distribution operation.

And we're now open seven days a week, giving our customers access to the Cellar Drinks team every day of the week.

Working closely with our suppliers and customers, we'll continue to grow our range and our business without losing the personal relationships and flexibility that got us here in the first place.
